When the Association began the process of saving the Abbey, we found countless signs of criminal trespassing. Priceless windows and statuary destroyed... and there was also natural damage. Water leaking into the portico has caused extensive ceiling damage. Also, having so many windows broken out allowed many birds and other animals the opportunity to seek refuge inside the facility.
